proxy - Disable firefox from loading content from the internet -

i looking view source html files in firefox, have downloaded. not want browser download files when opening html (e.g. images etc). easiest way of preventing firefox begin able access internet?

i suspect setting proxy values, can't figure out.

easiest way avoid disable network adapter. have tried before changing proxy settings , have found in instances if proxy server couldnt found firefix try connecting directly.
